Krooping

Krooping aims to increase returns for small and medium-sized agricultural producers by democratizing technology through win-win relationships with other players in the agro-industrial chain. The profitability gap between producers who organize in groups, use management information, and have access to technology is at least 200% higher than producers who don't. In Uruguay, fewer than 5% of producers have these characteristics, since doing so requires discipline, technical knowledge, and familiarity with technology - traits not present in most producers. To solve this problem, Krooping is the app and web platform that lets producers interact and connect with the entire production chain: agricultural suppliers, grain producers, agronomists, banks, and more. It is presented as a centralized solution that emphasizes usability and supports the producer at every step of the production chain.
